GCash and Maya online casinos in the Philippines: what changed, and which PAGCOR-listed brands mention them
Can you still use GCash or Maya at an online casino? The 2025 BSP order, the PAGCOR-listed brands that mention GCash or Maya, and how to pay safely.
On this page (8 sections)
Searching "GCash casino" or "Maya casino" mixes two different questions: which licensed brands say they take GCash or Maya, and does it actually work right now. We can answer the first from what each brand publishes. We cannot answer the second without opening accounts, and we have not. This page keeps the two apart. You must be 21+ to gamble.
Short answer. In August 2025 the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) made GCash and Maya remove their in-app links to gambling sites. We found no report of the BSP reversing that, and no rule saying whether a deposit started from a casino's own cashier is allowed. Nine PAGCOR-listed brands still mention GCash, and nine mention Maya, on their own pages or app listings (checked 28 October 2026). That is their marketing, not a tested cashier. Check the exact address with our licence checker first.
What happened in August 2025
- 14 August 2025: the BSP ordered BSP-supervised institutions, including e-wallets, to remove in-app links and icons that redirect to online gambling platforms, with a 48-hour deadline. GCash and Maya committed to comply (Philstar). BSP Deputy Governor Mamerto Tangonan told a Senate committee they had 48 hours, and GMA News reported on 20 August 2025 that GCash and Maya said they had complied by the Sunday deadline (GMA News).
- GCash said it would suspend gambling access through its GLife feature by 16 August (Philstar).
- Maya said its Games feature would stop giving access to gaming sites and apps from 8 PM on Saturday, 16 August 2025. Until then users could move leftover money from linked gaming accounts back to their Maya Wallet. After 8 PM they had to withdraw directly through the gaming provider's website or app (FinTech News Philippines). Maya also said it would "ensure uninterrupted availability of all our financial services"; none of the sources we read says the wallet itself was restricted.
What was switched off was the in-app route from the wallet to the casino: GLife on GCash, the Games menu on Maya.
GCash and Maya side by side
| GCash | Maya | |
|---|---|---|
| In-app gambling access | Suspended through GLife by 16 Aug 2025 | "Games feature" switched off at 8 PM, Sat 16 Aug 2025 |
| Leftover funds | Reports say users were given time to withdraw before access was cut | Move back to Maya Wallet until the deadline, then withdraw through the provider |
| Fees reported at an October 2025 House hearing | No deductions from users; fees covered by operators (GCash's Mark Anthony Amurao) | Roughly 2% to 3% of each transaction (Maya's Toff Rada) |
| Listed brands mentioning it on their own pages or app listings (28 Oct 2026) | 9 | 9 |
| Help line named in the provider's own release or page | 2882, or the GCash Help Center | (+632) 8845-7788, or support.maya.ph |
The fee lines come from the same hearing report (Yogonet, 23 Oct 2025): before the order, licensed operators were treated as merchants of the wallets.
How much each wallet will let you hold and receive also matters for a payout. GCash raised its limits on 1 October 2026 (PHP 1,000,000 a month for fully verified adults, PHP 5,000 for unverified Basic profiles, per its help page), while Maya's Account Limits page lists PHP 50,000 a month for Basic and PHP 100,000 for Upgraded accounts (both read 31 October 2026); see GCash and Maya wallet limits.
Which PAGCOR-listed brands mention GCash or Maya
On 28 October 2026 we loaded the public home page of each real brand in our PAGCOR-listed brand data (60 brands, using the first registered address in the 20 October 2026 lists) and searched the page text and markup for "GCash", "Maya" and "PayMaya". Later the same day we looked up each brand's iPhone app in the Philippine App Store through Apple's public lookup service, keeping only apps whose seller matches the company PAGCOR prints for that brand.
- 15 home pages loaded for us; 4 of them mention GCash and 3 mention Maya. 11 had no payment wording at all.
- 45 did not load for an automated check. For those we know nothing, and "not checked" is not the same as "no GCash".

Alphabetical; not a ranking and not a test. We do not link out to PT Gaming or NuSTAR Online at all (see the red flag below).
What their own pages say
| Brand | Their wording (untested) | Found in |
|---|---|---|
| PT Gaming | GCash only: "select GCash, enter amount (minimum PHP 100)"; a separate answer claims GCash withdrawals "within 5 minutes" and a minimum withdrawal of PHP 200 | FAQ markup in the home page source |
| NuSTAR Online | "GCash, Maya, Bank Transfer & QRPH"; GCash deposit "minimum PHP 100"; app: "GCash / Maya / QRPH / Palawan Pay – Instant deposits and withdrawals" | Meta description, FAQ markup, App Store |
| OKBet | "fast payments via GCash and Maya" | Meta description |

| Solaire Online (FUNaloMAX) | "Maya: Instant eWallet deposits and quick payouts" | App Store (seller Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels) |
How to read this:
- These are the brands' own statements. We have not deposited, so we repeat their numbers only to show what is being claimed. We publish no payout times, minimums or fees of our own.
- Page markup is not a cashier. Most of the home-page wording is FAQ markup written for search engines, in the same sentence pattern on several brands' pages, which suggests shared marketing copy.
- Some app listings look like one template. The ArionPlay, Hann Online and NinoGaming listings use near-identical wording, the same version number (1.0.8) and the same internal identifier prefix in Apple's data (com.winaxis.…), which suggests a common software builder; we say only that.
- Dates matter. A page can carry copy written before August 2025; we could not date any of these lines.
GameZone's listing (seller Gamemaster Integrated Inc., while PAGCOR's entry in our data names Total Gamezone Xtreme Incorporated, so we do not count it, although the listing's website link, gzone.ph, is an address printed in that PAGCOR entry's row) also says "Guaranteed cashout in as fast as 10 minutes via GCash". The BingoPlus listing we read says nothing about payment methods.
A red flag on two of these pages
The FAQ markup on the PT Gaming and NuSTAR pages describes the brand as offering "e-Sabong". PAGCOR's list prints no e-sabong offering for either brand, and online sabong is suspended nationwide (e-sabong explained). We do not promote it, and we do not link to either site. We treat this as a sign that the copy is careless or recycled, one more reason not to treat its payment claims as verified. The page, domain and company still matched PAGCOR's list when we checked; that is a licensing fact, not an endorsement.
Since the order: what PAGCOR and the wallets have said
- Revenue. At the October 2025 House hearing, PAGCOR attributed its September 2025 monthly income of PHP 2.9 billion, down from PHP 5.7 billion in May, to the delinking and a reduction in new player registrations (Yogonet). PAGCOR's chairman, Alejandro Tengco, had said on 20 August 2025 that online gambling transactions fell by roughly 50% after the order (GMA News). Both are PAGCOR's own explanations, not independent measures.
- PAGCOR wants the links back. In January 2026 Tengco said PAGCOR was preparing a position paper for the BSP arguing for the delinking to be reversed, hoping to "allow linking once again of the payment providers to the eGaming operators" (Complete iGaming, 21 Jan 2026). In August 2026 he told a congressional budget hearing that gaming activity had a downtrend of about 40% after the delinking (Philstar, 25 Aug 2026).
- No reversal found. We found no report of the BSP reversing its order. Assume the in-app links stay removed.
- A separate gambling account may come. The BSP circulated a draft in July 2025 that would require a separate online gambling account with daily limits; we could not confirm it is in force (OGTA draft explained).
- Maya has said nothing more. On 28 October 2026 we searched Maya's public home page, newsroom, blog and terms pages for "gambling", "casino" and "online gaming" and found no statement about online gambling.
GCash and Maya scams to expect
Because "GCash casino" is a popular search, it is also a lure.
- On 17 March 2026 Philstar reported that GCash had prohibited access to more than 3,200 merchants that abuse the national QR system, which were diverting traffic to malicious sites including fake payment pages and illegal gambling sites (Philstar).
- On 20 July 2026 GCash's parent Mynt said suspicious wallets linked to fraudulent QRPh activity are blocked and fake websites imitating official GCash payment pages are escalated for takedown. Its advice: check the payment site address matches an official GCash domain, confirm the merchant name before approving, and be wary of QR codes from unknown sources (Mynt newsroom). The release's headline mentions "6,700 illegal gambling sites", but its body, as we read it, describes fraudulent accounts and fake payment pages and does not mention gambling, so we do not quote the 6,700 figure as a count of gambling sites.
- Maya's guidance on fake payment requests (5 September 2025) says scammers use lookalike email addresses with misspellings or extra characters, that a genuine request does not pressure you to click unknown links, and that Maya "will never ask for confidential information through email, text, or social media" (Maya Stories).
- Report scams to GCash (Help Center or hotline 2882), to Maya ((+632) 8845-7788 or support.maya.ph), and to the CICC hotline 1326. Our walkthrough: fake GCash QR payment scams.
Before you put any money in
- Confirm the address. Match the exact website against PAGCOR's lists and PAGCOR Guarantee (how to check). A GCash or Maya logo on a page says nothing about licensing.
- Finish KYC first. PAGCOR said in February 2026 that initial KYC must come before depositing (what to expect).
- Open the cashier and read it. Note the methods, minimum, fees, daily limit and stated processing time, with the date. If GCash or Maya is not there, no web page can add it. Check your own wallet's limits too (wallet limits).
- Use only the operator's own cashier. Never send money to a personal number, an "agent" or a QR code from a chat, and never share your MPIN or OTP. Paying by bank or QR instead? See bank transfer, InstaPay and QR Ph, including how to tell a merchant QR code from a personal one. Topping up your wallet with cash at a store? See 7-Eleven and over-the-counter cash-in.
- Match the names. The name on your wallet should match the name on the casino account; a mismatch is one of the usual reasons for payout delays (withdrawal pending).
- Set a deposit limit before you start (self-exclusion and limits).
What we could not confirm
- Whether GCash or Maya deposits or withdrawals work today at any listed brand, including those whose own pages mention them.
- Any payout time, minimum deposit or fee as fact.
- Whether the BSP has finalised guidelines for online gambling payments, or whether its draft online-gambling account is in force.
- Penalty amounts: one headline mentions fines, but we did not verify them in a primary source.
- Anything about the 45 brands whose sites did not load for our check.
We will update this page when we can see a cashier ourselves or when a regulator states the rule. Compare every listed brand in the table of PAGCOR-listed casinos, or start from the online casino Philippines guide.

Frequently asked questions
Which online casinos accept GCash in the Philippines?
On 28 October 2026 nine PAGCOR-listed brands mentioned GCash on their own home pages or in their own App Store descriptions (PT Gaming, NuSTAR Online, OKBet, ArionPlay, Casino Plus, ArenaPlus, Hann Online, NinoGaming and CrazywinGo). That is marketing wording, not a look inside a cashier, so we cannot confirm that GCash works today. The only reliable check is the cashier after you have registered and finished KYC.
Can I still deposit to a casino with GCash or Maya after the BSP order?
The BSP order of 14 August 2025 made GCash and Maya remove in-app links to gambling sites. We found no source that says whether a deposit started from an operator's own cashier is allowed or blocked, and no report of the BSP reversing its order, so we do not claim either. Check the operator's cashier and the wallet provider's own announcements.
Which listed casinos mention Maya?
Nine: NuSTAR Online, OKBet, ArionPlay, Casino Plus, ArenaPlus, Hann Online, NinoGaming, CrazywinGo (as PayMaya) and Solaire Online through its FUNaloMAX app, on their own pages or App Store descriptions on 28 October 2026. That is marketing text, not proof of a working cashier.
What happened to money in my casino account when Maya cut the link?
Maya said that until 8 PM on 16 August 2025 users could move remaining funds from linked gaming accounts back to their Maya Wallet, and that after it they had to withdraw through the gaming provider's own website or app. Money held with an operator stays in that operator's account; use the operator's cashier.
Is a casino that says 'GCash instant withdrawal' legit?
The wording alone proves nothing. Check that the exact address is on PAGCOR's lists, then read the cashier terms. The payment lines we found are generic marketing text, often FAQ markup, that quotes speeds and minimums we did not test.
Can I send money to an agent's GCash or Maya number to top up?
No. Use only the operator's own cashier. A personal number or QR code sent over chat is a scam sign. Maya says it will never ask for confidential information through email, text or social media, so never share your MPIN or OTP.
