Editorial policy
How we research, fact-check, update and keep our content independent.
Independence
Commercial relationships never decide what we say or how we rate. We publish no ratings yet; when we do, they will follow the published methodology.
Sourcing and fact-checking
- Regulatory and payments claims must trace to a primary source (PAGCOR, BSP, the provider itself) or be hedged.
- Articles awaiting verification are marked DRAFT and set to
noindex. - We do not publish invented statistics or unattributed testimonials.
Corrections and updates
Each article shows publication and update dates. Report errors via contact; we correct material errors promptly and note the change.
Licensing gate
Only operators verified as PAGCOR-licensed can be reviewed favourably or linked to. Offshore operators and e-sabong are never recommended.
How this site is produced
Pages are drafted with AI assistance. Timothy Lim Tan then edits, reviews and fact-checks them against the primary documents they cite (PAGCOR lists, memos and codes, and named news sources). Dates, figures and quotations are traced to those sources; where we could not open a source we say so on the page. Hand-read PAGCOR list data was also checked by independent reviewers. Pages here are information for readers, not expert or legal advice.
What we do not do
- We do not call a page a review unless someone has used the service; pages about operators are labelled licence checks.
- We do not publish ratings, bonus amounts or payout times that we have not tested and dated.
- We do not publish batches of near-identical pages. Pages that are too similar are merged or kept out of search.
Authors
Articles are drafted with AI assistance and edited and fact-checked by Timothy Lim Tan. When we merge or substantially rewrite a page, its "How this page was made" box says so until he has reviewed the new version. See authors.
