Fishing games in the Philippines

How they work

Fishing games let you fire shots at moving fish and creatures. Each shot costs credits; a hit pays a multiple. Operators set the average return in the game's maths, so the casino keeps an edge over time, like other electronic games.

Where the return comes from (invented example)

Each fish has a prize multiple and a hit chance set by the game. Suppose a fish pays 10x a shot and the game gives each shot a 9% chance of killing it: the expected return on that fish is 0.09 × 10 = 0.90 of the shot cost, so 10% goes to the house. A game can mix many fish with different values and chances, but the designer sets the average return. Bigger cannon levels cost more per shot and do not change the percentage.

What JILI lists for its own fishing games

JILI, a provider Filipino players often search for, files its fish games under "Fish and Arcade". On 28 October 2026 its site (jiligames.com) listed 22 games under the heading Fish and Arcade, which also holds non-fishing arcade titles such as a ball-pusher, a scratch card and a roulette. A selection of its fishing titles, exactly as listed:

Read these carefully. They are JILI's marketing fields, not a paytable: the page does not say whether "max win" means one hit on one shot, a bonus round or a cap, and it publishes no RTP for any of them. Different games show different caps, so a clip claiming a huge multiple needs the exact title. If a cap is per shot, then at an illustrative ₱1 shot a 1,200x game could pay at most ₱1,200 for that shot (our arithmetic); a high cap tells you the largest possible prize, not how often it lands. Other providers publish different fields, and the table says nothing about which PAGCOR-listed casino carries which title.

Bet levels, bosses and bonuses

• Cannon or bet level: the cost of each shot. Raising it raises how fast you can lose.
• Boss fish and special rounds: large prizes at low hit chances; they feel exciting and have the same average return built in.
• Power-ups: often cost credits and are part of the maths.

Skill versus luck

Aiming and bet size can change your short-term experience, but they do not remove the house edge. Treat spending as entertainment cost and use limits. Fast arcade pacing makes it easy to spend more than planned.

Be careful

• Skip "hack", "pattern" and APK offers (APK scam warning).
• Check that the site is on PAGCOR's lists (PAGCOR-listed casinos).
• Rebate offers on arcade-type games are not covered by the 1.5% rebate rule in PAGCOR's May 2026 memo, which decides such programmes case by case (PAGCOR memo; free 100 and rebate-cap rules).
