What the checker actually checks
It compares one website address with the 491 domain names we extracted from PAGCOR's two published lists dated 20 Oct 2026 (read 27 Oct 2026): the registered brands and domains of licensed casinos and the accredited gaming system administrators' registered brands and domains. Before comparing, it strips what is not part of the address: https://, a leading www., anything after the first /, ? or #, a port number and capital letters. Addresses with non-Latin letters are converted to their standard (punycode) form first.
There are four possible answers, and you can describe them to your readers this way:

| Different address under a listed one | The address is a subdomain of a listed address (for example promo.listed-site.ph when only listed-site.ph is printed). PAGCOR prints addresses in full, so we do not treat it as listed. |
| Listed addresses under it | The address itself is not printed, but one or more subdomains of it are. The reader should use one of those exact addresses. |
| Not found | The address is not in the lists we hold. The reader cannot confirm the site is authorised and should not deposit. |
The check runs entirely in the reader's browser; the address typed in is not sent to us. Brand names are not searched, only website addresses; for a brand name, use the "Legit ba?" brand check.
What a result does not prove
- Not a safety rating. A listed address tells you PAGCOR registered it. It says nothing about how fast a site pays, how it treats complaints or whether its bonus terms are fair. We have not tested any operator.
- Not live. The lists are dated 20 Oct 2026. An address can be added or removed later; PAGCOR Guarantee (pagcorguarantee.ph) is the regulator's own check.
- Not proof that a page is genuine. A scam page can copy a listed brand's design on a look-alike address. The check is only as good as the address the reader pastes, so tell readers to copy it from the browser bar, not from a message or ad.
- Not a legal opinion. Whether a person may play also depends on age (21+) and on rules for some groups, such as government employees (who can play).
