What the listing describes
JILI's line: a party-themed game "led by a dancing ape"; all symbols appear in 3 sizes with background plates; a persistent 2x2 Gold Frame or Wilds on reels 3 and 4; and a Wild multiplier ("Wild mul…", cut off in our copy). The lines field reads 256-32400 Megaways: because symbols come in different sizes, the number of ways changes from spin to spin, from 256 at the least to 32,400 at the most.
"Persistent" is the key word in the 2x2 feature: something on the middle reels stays in place, which JILI does not explain further. The paytable shows how long it persists.
Against Party Star
Party Ape lists 25,000x, half of Party Star's 50,000x, and the same High-Med label. Party Star has a fixed 15,625 ways on a 5x6 grid; Party Ape's ways vary. A more volatile-looking layout does not need a bigger cap, and vice versa.
What to look up in Party Ape before you spin
- What 'persistent' means for the 2x2 Gold Frame: a few spins or a whole round.
- The Wild multiplier values (cut off in our copy).
- Whether bigger symbols pay more, or only change the ways count.
